Pat White, Drafted by Miami Dolphins. Good Fantas
Monday, June 22, 2009Pat White was drafted into the NFL by the Miami Dolphins. He should be a good Fantasy Football Sleeper.
A mere seven points in losses to Cincinnati and Pitt separated West Virginia from capturing its third BCS bowl appearance since 2006. The Mountaineers finished 23rd in the final AP rankings to make it four straight years in the final AP poll, a school first. It was the 15th time West Virginia finished the season nationally ranked.
White earned team, Meineke Car Care Bowl and Senior Bowl MVP honors and was taken in the second round of the NFL draft by the Miami Dolphins. White wrapped up his WVU career by guiding the Mountaineers to an NCAA-record four consecutive bowl victories as a starting quarterback. White also became the NCAA's most prolific running quarterback with 4,480 career rushing yards.
"He's the greatest winner to ever wear the Old Gold and Blue," said coach Bill Stewart.
Pat White was drafted by the Miami Dolphins and will definitely be used in the now famous Wildcat formation. He should have a great NFL career, and anyone looking for a Fantasy Football Sleeper, should look at Pat White. He won't have major Fantasy numbers, but he should see the field quite regularly and shouldn't be overlooked as a late round fantasy football sleeper pick.
