WVU stomps Auburn for Third Straight Loss
Friday, October 24, 2008
The University of West Virginia Mountaineers had a huge win over the Auburn Tigers Thursday night to get their season back on track.
In Auburn's third straight loss, the Mountaineers' Pat White threw three touchdowns, and their running back Noel Devine ran for a 207 yards, a career best, and West Virginia scored 31 unanswered points to beat War Eagle 34-17.
Auburn suffered only its NINTH loss since Tommie Tuberville has been coach. Even though West Virgina has been garbage this year, they still have a chance to make it to a BCS bowl due to their incredibly lame conference full of fellow garbage squads.
